So close I can taste it
And it tastes like oranges.
We’ll be ready for beta later tonight. I did a bit of redesigning today, which vastly improved the look, I think. The discussion forums have been set up, and I am currently integrating a few nifty little AJAX bits and pieces into the Feedzo maintenance area.
Our logo design contest over at GFXContests ends at midnight tonight and we’ll be picking a winner for that tomorrow. There are some really great entries and it’s going to be a tough choice between 3 or 4 different logos that we like very much. — I’ll announce the winner here tomorrow.
We’ll also be closing the beta sign-ups tonight at midnight as well, so if you haven’t signed up and want in on the fun, go sign up before it’s too late.

A bit of an update

I’m nearly finished converting Feedzo over to a user-based system. I wasn’t going to do this previously (because I had some crazy ideas for other things), but I’ve decided it would be best. This is what has been causing the delay in the start of the beta test, but if all goes well, it’ll be up and running really soon.
On a related note: does anyone have a *good* JavaScript color-picker widget? By good I mean re-usable (royalty free) with very minimal code needed to call it, relatively light-weight and cross-browser.
Update: As you can tell from the screenshot above, I found a nice color-picker that does just what we were looking for.
